Boycott this Chevron is CORRECT!! They charged be a $1 to fill up at their station. The card machine NEVER said there would be a $1 charge to purchase gas at their station. I have used this station twice and both times I was harassed for money. Now that I now others have been victimized I will never go there again. A letter to Chevron Corporate will be going to them.

I'm guessing you called 911 from a cellphone?

That would explain why you got the CHP office. With 911 from a cellphone, the "system" doesn't exactly know where you are, so if you live near a highway, it assumes you're driving, and transfers you to the CHP.

Keep a working analog landline, just for 911 service!

Calling 911 from a landline transfers you to the correct department immediately, without needing to go through the CHP office.

Also, find the number of your local police department, and keep it in your phone, so you can call in to them quickly and bypass the entire 911 service if need be.

Waste management offers large refuse pickups. Each household can schedule a major pickup once a year for free. You must have your stuff on the curb inside an 8 hour window. If you pile it out before or after the scheduled window, you will get a stiff fine. The only people who don't know about this service are those who own no property in Alameda county.

Not everyone owns a pickup truck with fuzzy dice and can't haul their stuff to the dump or more likely to the end of a cul-de-sac. Most major cities offer this service to home owners. They are the ones who pay the property tax that support the free for you school your kids go to.

Hey, look on the bright side. Since you like to jump to conclusions and don't bother to research your conclusions, you probably have a promising future in modern journalism.

Lately, I see guys sitting sideways, taking up two seats, in the last two rows. During the commute hour this is proving to be a test of which commuter will have the balls to ask for a seat.

I think this place is Ultimo Skeevo. It should be demolished and its parking lot used by BART commuters.

Plus it's a hangout for hoods on the weekend.

Good Riddance!
